In mid September Carrie and I found ourselves in Parkdale, OR. We were there to shoot the wedding of Toria and Jason. We had such a great time, these guys really know how to celebrate! As you can see from some of the shots we had some jokesters in the bunch and everyone was smiling and laughing non stop. which made for pretty easy shooting for Carrie and I. The bridal party even shook their groove thang down the aisle after the nuptials were finished!
The location was nothing less than spectacular. Zeman’s as they called it, was quite picturesque. We had old barns and out buildings, ponds and beautiful trees surrounding us and least I forget a cow pasture!
Which by the way is my favorite shot of the day: “American Gothic” barnyard style. As I say in most posts, it was so hard to choose just a few. We had a really great formals session, two actually. Our goal was to get some great sunset pics. Mother nature however, wasn’t in a cooperative mood that day. The very close Mt. Hood was covered in clouds which also threatened to foil our sunset plans. But just at the right moment we snuck the bride and groom away from the reception to get some beautiful sunset shots.
